The derivatives summary categorizes stock movements into four distinct phases based on the correlation between stock price and Open Interest (OI) changes. This helps traders decode the underlying market momentum.

  • Long Buildup: Price increases along with an increase in OI. Indicates fresh buying interest and a strong bullish trend.
  • Short Buildup: Price decreases while OI increases. Indicates aggressive fresh selling and a strong bearish trend.
